Resetting your password

To reset your password, go to the Healthie login page and click "Forgot my Password." This works for both providers and clients.

How it works

Enter your email address. If it exists in the system, you will receive an email with a reset link you can click to set a new password. If you don't see the email, check your spam or promotions folder because the reset link expires after 15 minutes. If that happens, request a new link and don't try to change your password with the old link.

For a strong password, we recommend:

  • 12 or more characters (longer is stronger)
  • A mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols
  • No common words or predictable patterns (like "password" or "12345")
  • No character repeated three or more times in a row

If your password isn't accepted, try making it longer or adding more variety; a mix of words in lower and uppercase is a good place to start (e.g. exampleILLUSTRATIONtesting).

Single sign-on users

If you use SSO, your password requirements are set by your identity provider, not Healthie.

Turn off browser autofill before resetting

Your browser may autofill the password field or submit the login form automatically before you finish typing. This can cause the reset to fail or lock you out.

Turn off autofill before you start:

  • Chrome: Settings > Passwords and Autofill > Google Password Manager > Settings > toggle off "Offer to save passwords"
  • Safari: Settings > Autofill > uncheck "User names and passwords"
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Logins and Passwords > uncheck "Autofill logins and passwords"
  • Edge: Settings > Profiles > Passwords > toggle off "Offer to save passwords"

After resetting, you can turn autofill back on. If your browser saved the old password, delete it from your password manager and save the new one. If you continue to have trouble, try again in an incognito or private window.
