Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) provides an added layer of security, as it requires a user to confirm their e-mail log-in with a back-up method, such as phone number.

As part of helping you maintain security processes, Healthie can enable MFA on your account, and the accounts of other providers in your organization.

Update: Multi-factor authentication can be enabled for any plan level.

If you would like to enable this on your account, please:

1. Have all providers enter their phone numbers within their Healthie accounts under Settings > Personal > Account (or click here). Please note that the phone number has to be formatted without any additional characters (e.g. + or -) in order to get the text.

Note: For non-US phone numbers, it's recommended that providers enter their phone numbers in the following format + [country code] [area code] [number]. For example, for a phone number in Mexico, it should be listed as +52-649-123-4567. Currently the following countries are available: United States, Canada, China, Puerto Rico, India, Israel, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Germany, France, Portugal, Sweden, United Kingdom, Egypt, Australia, Pakistan, Guam, Brazil, Spain, Korea, Japan, Philippines

2. The account owner can e-mail hello@gethealthie.com with the subject line Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Please include a short message in the body of the email confirming that you want to have MFA enabled on your account.

3. We will send over subsequent next steps.
