Healthie PDF Editor (beta)

Healthie's PDF Editor is an add-on feature that enables providers to modify PDFs directly in the platform.

Features include text annotations, highlights, digital signatures, draft saving, and a full audit trail.

Use cases span:

• Absence/return to school notes
• FMLA documentation
• ADA Accommodation Letters

Enabling Healthie PDF Editor

To get started, please complete our PDF Editor Enrollment Form.

Note: There is an additional fee.

• $25/month for Essentials, Plus and Group Plan customers
• $125/month for Enterprise customers

Cost is for your entire organization and includes up to 1,000 edits/month. For organizations with sub-organizations, each sub-organization needs a unique subscription.

Editing a PDF

• Navigate to Documents > upload or locate the PDF > [...] > Edit
• Within the PDF editing toolbar, you’re able to:
  • Rename the PDF by clicking the pencil icon next to the Name 
  • Add new text by clicking the white T icon. You can adjust the font and fill color, opacity, font, font size, and alignment as needed.
  • Highlight text by clicking the black T icon. You can adjust the highlight color, opacity and blend mode.
  • Add an E-Signature by clicking the signature icon. You can draw with your cursor, upload an image or type to sign. Click Done, then resize and drag the signature to the desired location.
  • Delete any text, highlight or e-Signature by selecting it > click trash can icon 
• Click Save draft to save changes as edits do not auto-save 
  • A green Saved icon will display in the top right to confirm saving 
• Click Close to return to your Document list 
  • Any PDF in draft state will be labeled with a Draft icon. You can edit by clicking “...” > Continue editing 
• Click Publish to flatten the PDF and enable the ability to share the PDF with others 

After publishing a document, you can share it with clients, groups and other organization members.
