Send a Superbill to a Family Member or Contact

In the event that you are working with children, or families, there may be an instance where you would like to send a copy of a Superbill to a contact other than the client. 

This will allow the contact (ie. a parent) to submit the Superbill to their insurance for possible reimbursement. 

To send a Superbill to a contact other than the client, we suggest that you add the person as a contact within the client's account. The contact will be able to receive notifications related to the client's account, including an email confirmation of Superbills, with the physical Superbill attached. 

The contact will receive an email notification, letting them know there is a new Superbill. There will also be a PDF attachment that they can download to their local device.They will not be able (or need) to log into Healthie in order to access the Superbill. 

Alternatively, you can download a copy of the Superbill and send it to the contact directly (ie. mail it, email it, fax, etc). We'd recommend this approach when the provider has customized the client's portal so that the client cannot view & pay bills

If this setting is disabled for the account, the client will not receive any emails related to payments, including Superbills, and any contacts added to their account will also not receive these email notifications.
