Add Gestational Age Calculator to Forms

Healthie's Charting feature (EHR) allows you to electronically take notes on clients in an organized way, using customized templates that also allow for automations like pre-fill and incorporation of intake form answers into charting templates.

Our Gestational Age Calculator is designed to simplify the process of tracking pregnancy progress by automatically calculating and displaying gestational age based on the client’s expected due date. Whether you’re a healthcare provider specializing in maternal care or working with pregnant clients, this enhancement helps streamline your workflow, reduce manual calculations, and improve documentation accuracy—all within your charting forms.

Add Gestational Age Calculator to a Form

From the Healthie Form Builder, you'll find the Gestational Age field under the "Charting Category"

Drag this field to any charting form template.

Learn more about Charting Templates here.

When creating a new charting note for a client, and selecting your template that contains a Gestational Age field, you'll now see the field appear.

  • Select the Estimated Due Date for your patient
  • Adjust the Date of Service for the session if needed (all charting notes default to the current date)

Gestational age will automatically be calculated & displayed based on those two inputs (service data and estimated due date).

Tip: If you have Pre-Fill enabled for your charting notes, the Gestational Age will automatically update on any subsequent notes based on the new date of service.
