Gift Cards

You may want to leverage Healthie's Payments System to offer gift cards, or enable a third-party to pay for services rendered.

Enable third party to pay for Client's Service

There may be an instance in which your services are being given as a gift from a third party (e.g., from someone that is NOT currently seeing you as a Client, but would like to give a friend / family member a gift). 

In this instance, you'll want to follow these steps:

• Create the referrer as a client on Healthie: If they are not / will not be working with you themselves, click the "Do not send Welcome E-mail" when adding them as a client (Best Practice - Create a Group that reflects their status like "Gift card") 
• Ask the referrer for a credit card to process a one-time payment (e.g., NOT a client package) by going to Billing > Payments > Charge client
• Create a promo code with the value of that payment (e.g., if a referrer has purchased a $200 packet of services from you, create a promo code worth $200)
• Give that promo code to the recipient of services with a link to buy the recommended package; by applying the promo code the package will be discounted by the amount that the referrer already pre-paid. 
• As per usual, the client who has been enrolled in the package will be added to your Healthie system if he/she is not currently a client, or enrolled in a package if he/she is already in your system. 

Offer gift cards for your services

If you would like to offer your clients gift cards for services that they can redeem themselves or give to other family members to redeem, we recommend:

• Ask the referrer for a credit card to process a one-time payment (e.g., NOT a client package) by going to Billing > Payments > Charge client
