View, Download, or Print an Insurance Claim

Healthie's CMS 1500 feature makes it easy for you to create CMS 1500 claims and submit them (electronically or physically) to an insurance company for reimbursement for services. For providers in-network with Medicare or Medicaid, Healthie can be used to quickly create claims that can exported and submitted to CMS.

Once you've created your claim in Healthie, you can download it as a PDF for your records, or print it to be manually submitted to an insurance payer for processing. If you'd like to electronically submit your claim, you'll need to export it as a TXT file

Download a Claim as a PDF

Follow the steps below to export your claim as a PDF.

  • Navigate to Billing > CMS 1500's
  • Locate your claim
  • Click the [...] and select Export as PDF

The PDF file will automatically be downloaded to your local device.

Tips for Printing a Claim

After you've downloaded the claim as a PDF file, you can print it from your local device. Claims created in Healthie match up with the standard CMS claim form.

Please note, some insurers like Medicare & Medicaid do NOT accept photo copies of a form, or printed version of a form on regular paper. The form must be printed on a standard CMS 1500 "red ink" claim form. This paper form is available from various retailers, such as Amazon, Staples, and Office Depot
