Platform Release Notes: August 2026. Learn what new changes to the Healthie platform and mobile app that both providers and clients can expect to see. With new releases each week, make the most of Healthie's new features by bookmarking this help article and checking back frequently.

Appointments and Provider Utilization Dashboard Enhancements

We're continuously improving our dashboards to give you better data and visibility. Here's what's new:

• Appointments Dashboard: Expanded visibility into all-provider data, including an updated chart showing your top 20 providers by appointment volume (previously top 10) and a new Full Provider Breakdown table with total appointments by appointment type. Additionally, Appointments Per Day are now rounded to the nearest whole number for easier readability.
• Provider Utilization Dashboard: Total Availability and Appointment Hours are now rounded to the nearest whole number for easier readability. The raw data table continues to display two decimal points for comprehensive data.

Assign Multiple Appointment Types to a Single Availability Block

Availability setup now supports selecting multiple appointment types within a single record, giving providers and administrators more flexibility when defining scheduling windows.

• More flexibility, fewer records: Assign two or more appointment types to one availability block instead of creating separate records for each.
• Cleaner calendar management: Fewer records means less complexity when building, editing, or reviewing a provider's schedule.
• Improved at-a-glance visibility: Updated tile and hover content on the availability calendar shows what appointment types are covered within each block.
• Works across calendars: Applies to both provider and organization availability calendars.

⚙️ Before you start: This feature requires Availability by Appointment Type to be enabled. If you don't currently have it enabled, turning it on will prompt a one-time reset of all provider availability, a good opportunity to review and streamline your setup while you're in there.

💡 Also using Availability by Contact Type? We're releasing multi-contact-type availability soon. If you plan to use both appointment type and contact type settings, we'd recommend waiting for that release so you can configure both together and only need to re-add provider availability once. 🧑‍💻 Building on the API? Pass multiple values through the appointment_types   field to take advantage of this in your integration. We recommend testing before rolling out any code changes — see the API Docs for details.

Additional Updates

Minor bug fixes. Thank you for taking the time to report these issues to our team, so that we could diagnose and address them for those affected. If any of these issues persist, please let us know by contacting us at hello@gethealthie.com.

• Fixed an issue where Zoom cloud recordings were not always fully captured in Healthie. Recordings will now be captured completely and consistently, even when a Zoom session is stopped and restarted.

API Updates

All features added this month are also available directly via the API. In addition, we are laser focused on building a best-in-class customer experience, which includes continuously investing in, and iterating on, our developer experience. This will include updates to documentation, SDKs, Webhooks and more, throughout the upcoming months.
