Improved E-Rx Notifications

Healthie offers a E-Rx integration with Dosespot which enables clinical providers to prescribe medications electronically on behalf of their patients.

DoseSpot sends important notifications and alerts, like the Change Requests, Transmission Errors, and EPCS process prompts to Providers. Previously these notification could be seen in the E-Rx portal, but now they are also visible via the Healthie portal.

Add a Custom Insurance Policy to a Client's Profile or Claim

A recent release enabled account admins to add a custom insurance policy directly to the account's insurance settings. Our most recent update helps to bring this process into a provider's workflows. A custom insurance policy can now be added directly from a client's profile, or from the CMS 1500 claim directly.  

When searching for the policy name, if no results are found, an option to " add a new insurance policy" will appear. A side panel will display for providers or account admins to complete the requested information. Once added, the custom policy will be stored in your account's insurance plans database, and can be applied to other clients who may also have this insurer.

Team Member Management Updates 

Account admins can customize each team member's role and permissions within Healthie. Review new permissions that have been added to the platform this month. 

  • Can rename and delete tags: When enabled, team members with this permission will be able to assist in the management of provider and client tags. Learn more about using Tags within Healthie

  • Ability for Team members to View all org members' tasks. Healthie's task management feature streamlines internal operations. When this setting is enabled, team member's will be able to view all of the tasks created & assigned to other team members, in addition to their own tasks. Learn more about Tasks for Organizations


Configure Account Settings with External Video Call URL(s) 

A recent update went live enabling providers to indicate an external URL link for video calls scheduled in Healthie. A subsequent update now enables account admins to set a default organization URL for video calls. 

Additionally, a unique external video call URL can be added for individual provider(s).   

These advanced video call settings are available to members on our Enterprise Plan.

Filter Client List by Client Tag(s) 

Filter your list of clients by clicking the All Tags option. Select or deselect tags to curate your list of clients.

Time Zone Updates

Healthie's Calendar, EHR, and core features of the platform use time zones to log and record actions taken by you and your clients. Learn more about Time Zones & Healthie

Adjust Time Zone When Scheduling Appointments 

When adding a new appointment to a schedule, a time zone field will appear. The time zone will default to the local time zone for the person setting the availability, but can be adjusted by clicking the drop-down.

When adding one-time or recurring availability to a schedule, a time zone field will appear. The time zone will default to the local time zone for the person setting the availability, but can be adjusted by clicking the drop-down. 


API Updates

  • All features added this month are also available directly via the API
  • The pharmacy notes data field is now available in the Healthie API; "PharmacyNotes": "sample string 6", "NoSubstitutions": true,
